Hi all,
has anyone any experience of this bench power supply?

I'm looking to buy my 1st one, but I can't say I've heard of the supplier. I don't want to spend money if it's just a piece of junk

Looks like a rebadged Hantek.

You might ask IanJ for a update/review.
Hi,

There are plenty others in the range.....Ebay "bench power supplies"

Here's the schematic in case you're curious.

I looked at this one the other day after I saw one in Ian J's videos ,seems cheep enough for the ok specs ,nice dual display.
the only thing that put me off was no "output disable/enable" for the outputs only a main on /off switch so you cant preset V while load connected ,that goes for the current limit too you have to short the output to set limit. I wonder how much they save in build cost's by not having output enable/disable switches on them, but it seems peny wise and pound foolish to me .

Looks like a rebadged Hantek.
Rebaged QJE aka Ningbo Jiuyuan.

Yes, I noticed that too. Having to short the outputs seemed a pain, but for the price range, the other models I looked at had the same "feature". I agree with you, for a few bucks more, they surely could have sorted this.

Just how would one go about installing an output disable/enable switch in a PSU? Is it as simple as adding a switch on the positive output wire that can handle the current or is it more complicated than that? I built and modded one of the Elenco XP720K and would like to add that feature. I did some searching on the internet and that yielded no results.
