I know it's not really made by Agilent but for the price is it worth it? https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/ele/d/dallas-agilent-dso-1102b-oscilloscope/7696614141.html |

Absolutely not. That is old Rigol DS1102E. Maybe for 50-100 USD.. For a bit more than 300 USD you can get much better scopes from new generations of Siglent/Rigol. |

It is believed to be a Rigol hardware with Agilent software (you get the best of both worlds ;) as most complaints about Rigol are about its software, not about the hardware per se…). Nicer than a $100-$150 Tektronix TDS 220 or a $130 FNRSI tablet but less featured than a modern $339 Siglent DSO1202X-E. Your call. I have the 150MHz version of it (Agilent DSO 1152), bought circa 2018 with ~$170 from the now defunct Keysight eBay store (with some warranty back then). I am rarely using it, mostly only when I worry I would damage one of my nicer scopes – for instance, last time was when I was curios to see what kind of “proprietary” signals a Black&Decker car battery "rejuvenator" injects in a dead car battery trying to rescue it… If you have specific questions, I can answer. |
