Ise there a juicy output, multi-phase frequency generator, for power circuitry ?
(1/1)
LinuxHata:
Hello.
I'm looking for a not so expensive DDS (or any other type) generator, which will:

1. Have up to 4, fully independent and ground isolated outputs, with enough "juice" to drive some 40A, 600V MOSFET directly.
2. Phase shifting, dead time  and duty adjustable and all other things needed for driving multi-phase converter circuits.
3. No need for Sine, triangle, sawtooth or any other waveform except the square one.
4. Operating frequency up to 2mhz.

Any ideas?
Yes I know that power driver can be added to many DDS output stage, but I'd prefer finished solution, if possible.

Hi,

This is special... ;)

Me I would design indeed a individual solution with a power driver, because of the gate-currents which can reach easiliy some amperes depending (not only)on the gate charge capacity of the used FETs.
But have a look here:

And :
https://www.berkeleynucleonics.com/Model-575

If I was you I would contact them with the same question you quoted here.

Well I checked their website, and also specs of device they offer :D
That picosecond delays and so on, give me idea that they're using this device for cyclotrons, particle accelerators and so on.
So it will have both aerospace-grade pricing and FBI-grade questions, why average DIYer decided he needs something like that :D

I just need a device, to test, analyze and develop various output power stages of SMPS. I'm not playing with railguns, tesla coils and so on :)
