My Itech load has a decent battery test feature. I fully understand all of the settings but one - when setting up the test, it asks for a "current range." I've read the manual and there's zero explanation of what it actually means - it just says "...set current range." I've tried a couple of different settings and run the test with a lipo battery, but I can't tell what the heck this current range actually does.

Does anyone know what that setting means?

Because that is using CC, isn't the range selection used to set the resolution?

If I'm understanding things correctly, then it's got no other function than to just allow the instrument to measure current more accurately during the test.

That would make sense, I guess. Thanks!
