Title: Keithley 2001 logging by serial or GPIB

Is there a way to simply collect data from the instrument and get it in Excel without using Labview or any software that is free?

The easiest solution is to use excel marco and serial. Have a look at the link below. It is using Agilent I/O, to handle the drivers, but its a nice tutorial.
