Rigol DS1202Z-E or MSO5074 and LCR meter

Hello all,

I'm in the market to buy an oscilloscope, I've been looking at Rigol and I'm not really sure of the best place to start. Buy a lower end cheaper model or buy a MSO and grow into it. I'm not looking to spend over 1K on a scope, ideally I'd like to spend less. What would anyone else do?  DS1202Z-E or MSO5074?

I'm also looking around for an LCR meter, maybe a Uni-T. Not sure. What's anyone else's experience with LCR meters? Looking to keep the LCR meter under 100 bucks.

Last thing I'm looking for is a trusty Multi-meter. Any ideas for something under 200 bucks?

So what am I working on? Mostly old school equipment, radios (fm/am, cb's, amplifiers), old and current PC motherboards, old retro computers (commodore/amiga, Texas Instruments, .etc..) old retro game consoles (Atari, Coleco, Nintendo, Sega, Sony, etc...)

MSO5074 Is a must go for budget entry level ( nothing will gave you something near for the price ) , The multimeter is Fluke, I would prefer a used Fluke 87 than a new Unit meter.  Fluke have endurance, if you don
t need that buy a 30 USD meter that will be a better deal, only Fluke handheld deserve 200 a 300 USD avoid Agilent , they have good bench meters , but very problematic handheld ones

If you live in the USA the choice should be between MSO5074 and GW-Instek GDS1054B (both with hacks)

If you have $1000 then get the MSO5074. 

For the jobs you describe though, the Instek is perfectly capable.

Look at Brymen ("Greenlee" in the USA).

nb. One meter isn't enough. Get one of those and something like this as well:
