Keithley DMM7510, SMU 2450 & 2460 problems
Sparky:
@HighVoltage, since you have some Keithley equipment too I just wanted to point out this problem I've discovered with the 2450.
I wonder if you can verify, perhaps with your 2460 also?
HighVoltage:
Since the last few years and latest firmware update I had no more problems with either one of my Keithley's
I posted my results in the other thread

No, the refresh rate of the DMM7510 is so fast that the camera was too slow.
Sparky:
Hi all, I know this is an old thread but it seems most appropriate to continue here.
I began encountering a "blue screen of death" on my Keithley 2450 SMU, running the latest FW, and I don't see this particular error mentioned previously:
FW v01.07.12
PC=00151180
This happens randomly but often enough that I'm wondering if anyone else encounters it...maybe I have a hardware problem?
My sequence of steps is:
1. Power on; system boots normally.
2. Select "Quickset" > "Power Supply"
3. Settings: 4V, 1A, 2-Wire Sense
4. Blue screen
The problem might not be related to the above sequence of button presses; that's just how I've been encountering it recently.
A power cycle, waiting a few seconds, and then power back on seems to clear the problem and the SMU works fine as far as I can tell.
Any advice on the best way to reach out to Tektronix/Keithley support about it?
I will update with any information/resolution that I find.
Thank you!
