Keysight DSOX1102G system concerns detected
« on: May 17, 2022, 01:50:58 pm »
hi everybody

After a very long time unpluged the power cord, I upgrade 1102G firmware to 1.20 and received the message on screen:

System concerns detected:
  - System clocks is defauted.
  - The default setup was loaded.

I have did some test
1. If kept all of the settings default and reboot, there is no warning message any more
2. If custom any setting and reboot, the message comes back

Does any one how to fix it?

Thanks very much

Battery backed parameter memory? But product seems too recent for a flat battery to be the cause...

Even though this is an old thread, it seems the only one in the whole 'net concerning this message.
I just saw the same message. Opened up the scope, and sure enough it has a coin cell on the main board. This is a CR 2025 (why not a 2032, come on), and it measures 0.5V without any load, so dead as a brick. And of course this is a size I don't have at hand :(
So when you see this message: open the scope (4 screws for the case, and 9 for the metal chassis inside, all Torx T3), and change the battery.
