| KEYSIGHT scopes WISHLIST for future firmware updates |

Thank you Keysight for making such great scopes. However, I have a few items on my wish list for future Firmware updates. Maybe others have some wishes in mind as well. 1. Remove Serial Number from Screenshot Why is that serial number in the screenshot to begin with? I don't want my customers to see that number! Same with the scopes model number and firmware version, why would I want to have it there? I have to write lots of reports and it is so convenient and beautiful to include a scope screenshot. But Keysight adds the Model and Serial number to each screenshot on the top, so I have to take it manually out with a picture editing program. (Hassle and time) Please give us an option in the settings, of what we would like to include in the screenshot like this: □ Model Number □ Firmware Number □ Date □ Time □ Serial Number □ Custom Text: " " □ File Name: " " Or, if this is too complicated, just leave the serial number and model number out of the screenshot. 2. Date and Time In the settings, I can set the clock based on 24h system But on the screen I always have AM/PM and American date format Please let us choose 12h or 24h clock and international Date I would like to set it to such example: 17:45 6.7.2022 And why squeez the time in between the date on top of the screenshot And why the name of the weekday? 3. Quick Measurements There is such a great feature of quick measurement. But I can not do anything with that screen. I would like to save such a screen as a graphics file to USB At least in the touch screen scopes that should be easily implemented. Thanks Keysight, for implementing such feature. |

On lecroy scopes you got the choice to "print" whole screen or grid area only and with watermark or not. Would be a nice feature for the keysight too. |

Grab the screen shot from the web interface - I don't believe it will then include the model/serial. |

I just tested this on a 3000X scope (DSO-X 3034A) See attachments I even tried BenchVue and it transports the Model Number and Serial Number as well. On some models it transfers the Firmware version but not on all. I think transferring the firmware version as well to the screenshot was an "improvement" on the touch models. :-DD |

You could just run this one line script: --- Code: ---convert /tmp/Web-Screen-Saved.png -chop 0x23 /tmp/Web-Screen-Saved-Clipped.png --- End code --- I've attached a sample output based on your original image. See: https://imagemagick.org/ |
