Update to fix incorrect resistance measurement value (DCR) when measuring <7MΩ at 20MΩ range – issue presents in version 3.06.

Be aware this update only applies to a limited range of serial numbers(and that appears it is newer units).

U1731C, serial number above MY55200000 allowed to perform firmware update to version 3.07.
U1732C, serial number above MY55240000 allowed to perform firmware update to version 3.07.
U1733C, serial number above MY55220000 allowed to perform firmware update to version 3.07.

Edit - Just wanted to add that my U1733C updated without issue. It had firmware version 00.28 and now reports as firmware 03.07.
I know years ago when people updated the U173xC series some seemed to brick, the update disappeared off the website a while later.
If you do perform the update I'd make sure your PC isn't running much in the background during the process (it takes under a minute).

I'm having trouble finding a download for the 3.07 firmware, does anyone know where these are hosted online?

The Keysight page for the U1733C only shows the GUI logger under available software/firmware

It looks like it was removed from the website again - maybe people bricked meters with this update too?

I checked and I still have the update .zip file. It is 13 megabytes but if it might brick machines I don't know if I should post it publicly.

Thanks for your reply, turns out I'm on version 3.06.

Probably not worth the risk to update anyway only for that resistance bug at the top end range
