Could someone tell me if you tested the Kingst LA1016 logic analyzer, can it really handle 100mhz?

No, but I have tested an LA2016 at over 100MHz and it works fine.
LA1016 uses the same hardware as LA2016 so I strongly suspect it will be fine at 100MHz (sampling speed, so input signals need to be less).
