LCR Cal Test PCB
Martin72:
You design the circuit boards in your sleep, don't you... ;)
I probably won't finish populating my circuit board until I've bought a new soldering station; I'm not satisfied with the one I have now.
In principle, I find the idea of being able to test as much as possible with a single board appealing.
The design so that the Kelvin clamps fit is also good.
If I were to design something like this, however, I would reduce the number of measuring components and implement the line paths as shown on the L/C option of DMM Check+.
Even if it wouldn't be necessary due to the option of using Kelvin lines, it would be for gut feeling. ;)
Maybe I will do that, because we had two options to choose from.
KungFuJosh:
The line method on the L/C option makes it so you can't use kelvin clips at all, and that's half the purpose of this design. 😉
Martin72:
You can also measure on the board with Kelvin clips, I know that for certain reasons.
But yes, the compensation then only goes as far as the test pins, that is true.
KungFuJosh:
V6 is done. I'm going to test a few meters including my LCR, and at least 2 of my DMMs...as soon as I get my DAQ back from being serviced.
KungFuJosh:
A few quick tests to see how it came out...
