Hi Guys,
Just go this IDACOM PT500 unit as a bit of a restoration project. Got it on ebay for $90 as not working and have done 5 minute quick check up on it.
The power supply has no 5V or 12V and its giving 50V on the 24V rail. Plus the power transistors can cook an egg. About to go back out and pull all the cards and recheck the power supply to see if one of the cards it shorting out the supply.
Couple of things I am missing I hope you may help with. I have been unlucky at finding any schematics for it at all. I have a bunch of user manuals and programming references but no service manual or schematics. If someone can point me to where I can get them I would be very appreciative.
Second is the System Floppy disks. I have no idea on the condition if the hard drive and I cant even tell what sort of hard drive it is. Got some interest non-standard looking connectors. Either way, I would be a appreciative of anyone who can point me to images of the floppy disks that go with the PT500.
