I have a question about the DSO2D15
When looking at "Statistics" (Measure/Statistics) is there any way to reset the counter ?
On scopes I have used in the past there was always a "reset" or "clear" button to clear the "statistics" results so that the averaging can be re-started at the point that you pressed it.
For example if you are looking at the average frequency of an input signal over time (say 60hz) and there was a signal interruption, or you changed frequency (say to 100hz) and you would like to try and see the average of this new frequency usually you would just have to press the "clear" button and look at the average again.
Not the case with this scope.
If you turn OFF "statistics", and then back ON it continues counting the averages so in this case you would see a number around 80hz (the average of the 2, rather than the average of the 2nd frequency that is now being measured)
The work-around for me presently is to clear the statistics and then re-select the item (or in my case multiple items...Voltage, Frequency, RMS, P-P....) and set it up again to measure "Statistics" , very cumbersome.
Perhaps this feature is available in a new firmware ? or there is a button or selection that I am missing ?
-Thanks in advance.
