Hi, Do you know what source resistance to choose..its either 30R, 50R, or 100R? Also, what does the "L force" input mean? Also, "H force"? I measured some inductors but its well inaccurate. I did all the opan and short calibration/initialisation steps. LCR6200 https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/2267000.pdf |

Do you work with kelvin probes ? show photos of your probes the "L" side will touch together on one side on the part to be measured Same for the "H" side https://www.allaboutcircuits.com/textbook/direct-current/chpt-8/kelvin-resistance-measurement/ Unless some damages happened ? |

I am getting a Lsec measurement of 7.5uH...and primary of 480uH. Thats 8:1 and it surely cant be that much in this design. I am wondering if the intercoil capacitance is making the sec coil inductance look much lower than it really is.? The Sec coil, with the "Ls-Q" measurement comes out as 7.5uH and Q=12. Q=12 sounds high, i am wondering if there is loads of intercoil capacitance and the inductance reading is thus coming out low. |
