Hi,
Got an eBay snipe for a LeCroy 434, but looking at the firmware it appears to be from another model.
Can anyone shine some light onto this. Aspirations are to perform I2C/SPI/UART/CAN decoding.
Thanks

LeCroy XStream scope (Windows scopes) all use the same firmware and detect the instrument type from the acquisition hardware. Your first screenshot shows simulated square, triangle, sine, and pulse waveforms leading me to believe the instrument is in simulation mode. Either someone has gone into the service menu and checked the sim option or there's a hardware issue talking to the acquisition board and it has fallen back to simulation mode.
Inside you'll find a PCI acquisition interface card like the picture I've inserted. It's probably fine but may be having trouble talking to the board it's connected to.
