Title: LeCroy 9350A WPA02 option
Post by: ciasteczkowypotwor on July 13, 2018, 01:58:38 pm
Has anyone installed options WPA01/02/03 from a memory card, or FDD. Maybe someone has the necessary file?

Best regards
Wojtek

Hi Wojtej

The Lecroy uses a GAL chip. Fortunately the chip can be programmed yourself or sometimes a seller on ebay does release a batch of them.
In the leroy owners group on Yahoo, the chip contents can be downloaded

You right, it's only firmware update. 39/5000
There is no GAL at all, there is an empty stand.

All of the 93XX, and LC series need a 16V8GAL to enable the WP01/2/3 MC01 and somw other options. I have attached the JED file that you can use to burn into a DIP package 16V8. This GAL will enable all of the useful options on the 93XX series.
