The B models been in he background for a while, Lecroy did a product launch for its staff on Tuesday this week. The information went live on their website yesterday.
One nice touch you can use the two watt-meter method for measuring three phase power supplies on four channels instead of six, plus the new maui studio pro features.

Ah, probably the reason, why we are getting our HDO6000A for 40% off, last year.... :o 8)

Looks real nice and yes, 15" is HUGE in comparison to 12" or 10".
We also got a WR9054, it´s 15.4" screen let the 10" of another lecroy lookin like a 7" rigol to 10".
The right size for old men like me... ;)

Will LeCroy ever release an oscilloscope with a 4K display?
If it runs on Linux, there is some hackability in it.

I am curious about that TT;  do you  envisage 6000B users using third party probes rather than the probus ii Interface?

Maybe they have externally powered probes already and don't require the additional expenditure to buy into the Probus family.
6 USB ports gives the buyer options and better than a possibly noisy USB hub.

It might be so trivial as the fact that PC motherboard already had 6 USB ports and it doesn't hurt.
But, in reality, better more than less.
That is full blown PC and you can run other applications, and use USB devices.
