Lecroy Wavepro 7k - how to save auto-cal settings?
« on: October 09, 2023, 05:49:14 pm »
I'm talking about saving this setting in the service menu. Every time I turn off the oscilloscope, the settings are reset to the values as in the photo.

The settings in the Service menu cannot be saved as they are not meant to be accessible by regular users on a daily basis, I think. Also, I am curious do you also get these peaks with no signal attached to the input channel. All my lecroy scopes show these peaks.

I think those are the subsets of the saved autocal routine references you can redo from that menu, not a selection of which ones are performed when the instrument autocals.

To the other poster, yes you get some peaks in the lower range of the FFT which is internal clock generation spurs coming through.

It's really turning off the autocalibration. When switching ranges (both vertical and horizontal) there is a few seconds of autocalibration which is an annoying delay when I don't need to know the exact signal parameters. If I turn off the above options, everything goes quickly without autocalibration.
