LeCroy WR6050 Custom BIOS
« on: October 13, 2024, 08:48:43 pm »
I have a LeCroy WR6050 (Intel D865GLC motherboard) and tried to get SATA SSD working but was unsuccessful. I thought doing a BIOS update would help recognize the SSD but it seems LeCroy has some kind of custom BIOS where it has settings for the AGP video card. Now I've updated the BIOS but the onboard LCD doesn't work and the scope doesn't boot unless I plug in a VGA monitor then the onboard LCD works fine after Win2000 loads.

Does anyone have a copy of the original BIOS for WR6050 so I can reflash? I didn't think to make a copy of the original BIOS.  :palm:

I've tried messing with the video card settings in the BIOS but no luck.

I'm going to LeCroy but I don't have high hopes...

normally theses  mobo  don't have any lcd interfaces on them,  you should have somekind of lcd interface card, or something on the agp port .... to do this kind of interface

can you access your windows device manager and check any exclamation mark,   you have  how to on the web ..   and you should have software / drivers to do so ....

you have Lecroy Groups on Groups.IO   for the same questions, no real answers   yet

there is a p11 bios version

Thank you very much! I flashed P15 bios version and got it working again.

I'm not sure what is the difference between P11, P15, P10, etc. I tried other versions before posting (P10, P25) and didn't work, so I assume they all have slightly different configurations?
