I got given this a couple of weeks ago so thought I would post a tear down as I have not come across this brand Limit before. It appears to retail for around the $275 NZD mark here. Full specs are at the bottom of the post. Have played around with it a bit and seems to be ok.
My first post as well :)

This looks like a re-badged Uni-T UT61D perhaps? Not sure though.
The price seems unreasonably high if that is in fact the case.

It's a sub $100 multimeter, so whoever pays that price is being ripped off (close to being scammed). :palm:

Yes seems way over priced for what it is, was given it as somebody came across it in a auction box and did not want it. Another quick look on pricing is actually $300 to $325 NZD which is even worse.

Looks pretty identical.

At least they put in the ceramic stove fuses, not the cheaper glass ones, but of course skimped out on the MOV again.

Check this out, they are being sold in Australia as well. $181 AU for a Limit rebadged Uni-T 58 series which goes for about $40.

The Uni-T 58 being sold at Altronics is $80 which is about right after import and markup.

Should trade in my Uni-T 71D at Toolmart would probably get $800-900 for it.
This one made me laugh as well 2200% (twenty two thousand percent) markup.
