SoundTech-LG:
My old one (53230A) will most likely be up for sale in that same <$2k range as well...
TERRA Operative:
Got myself a HP 3325A in working condition for 13000 yen ($120).

Needs a new fan and I'll probably replace a few capacitors for fun, but it works fine now I plugged in a few dislodged cables inside. Easy fix! :D

I can't have things be that easy, so I reckon I'll have a go at making my own 'Option 002 - High Voltage Output' board to give me 0-40v output on the 0-1MHz range.
SoundTech-LG:
I have a spare (parts mule) that just needs a few switches on the front panel replaced. It might even have the HV option in it.

Nice grab! I like my 3325B but I wish it had the old style keys like the A model. Mine had the high voltage option retrofitted to it. If you do add it, just be really careful connecting it to sensitive things like oscilloscopes with 50 ohm impedance selected. It WILL blow it up if you got the wrong settings accidentally. The instrument preset button is a good safety net; it will set the output to 1000 KHz, -56.02 dBm.
TERRA Operative:
Oooh, can you guys take a peek and if you do hae the HV option, can you take a few photos of both sides of the PCB and wiring? :)

And, yep, I'm already feeling a bit wary of that HV output hitting my scope.
I do have a Tek TDS210 and the inputs on that are good for 300v, but I can't say the same for my frequency counters, or the circuits I end up hooking it up to. :D
