I did precisely that just last week. Found one in oz for just over 300 bucks, in very good cosmetic condition.
On powerup it had error 3, checksum failure of "non volatile RAM CAL".
Doing an initialization seem to get rid of the error but now I have to calibrate it.
The VFD is a little dim and uneven in brightness so I've pulled it apart to have a squiz and found a toasted and cracked tantalum.
Haven't measured the others but hopefully changing these out might improve the display

The replacement VFD's on ebay are pretty good if you need one, likely from the same plant Keysight now gets them made.
