Maybe an fluke 8845 or if your very lucky an 8846 (added capacitance and temperature) ... sometimes you have them under 1k$ ...
Im searching ebay time to time for an 8846a, to my taste its the more complete bench meter than anybody out there, and you keep fluke connectivity ...
I just added a few gossen 28 and 29 in my collection and an fluke189, all near mint ... just found and ordered an rare to find bp189 battery pack for the fluke 189, it extend the meter around 450 hours of use, and the Gossens have an transformer option near the input jacks ...
I dont see right now the use / justification of an bench meter. For 1k$, i've bought tons of equipment, sure i'm not going up to 6 1/2 digit, the Gossens are 310000 count and the fluke 50000 count, but there doing very well for me.
Thats my 2 cents ...
