Title: Looking for a cheap handheld two channel signal generator
Post by: Magnum on December 08, 2018, 02:58:17 pm
Hello,

I am looking for a handheld sine wave signal generator with two channels. Frequency up to 100kHz, amplitude up to 20V, accuracy 0.1%.
On ebay I found this one:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/JDS2062A-Handheld-30MHz-2-Ch-Digital-Signal-Generator-Frequency-Meter-S4R2-SPS/264072167443?hash=item3d7bed8013:m:mX4GDDtJy3SGnrlW3X8wVUQ:rk:1:pf:0 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/JDS2062A-Handheld-30MHz-2-Ch-Digital-Signal-Generator-Frequency-Meter-S4R2-SPS/264072167443?hash=item3d7bed8013:m:mX4GDDtJy3SGnrlW3X8wVUQ:rk:1:pf:0)

It does everything I need and the price is right. Does someone have one of them or can recommend something else?

Thanks.

Interesting. I see that maximum output level value is not specified.  Are you sure it is 20V?

Best regards

Model: JDS2062A
...
Output Signal Amplitude Range: ≤5MHz (2mV - 20V),

How about Feeltech 6600/6800? It's bench top version, but small enough to be taken away. No battery opperation for that maner though.

The Feeltech looks interesting, but I need battery operation. I think I'll order a JDS2062A from China and see what I get.
