Looking for a portable ( 230/400V 50Hz ) power measuring device.

(1/1)

The Soulman:
As the title states, I'm looking for a portable device that could measure and log real power in three-phase systems/distribution panels.
Ideally it would record up to a weeks worth of data (1 sample per 5 minutes = +- 2000 samples).
Goal is to monitor power "consumption" for several three phase distribution panels, all in a 230/400V 50Hz environment ranging from 50 to 400 Amps.
Obviously the ability to use (different) current clamps is mandatory, so is a cat IV input rating.

Anybody has any suggestions for a portable device that would be suitable?

I am aware of the different din-rail and panel-mount devices, for this instance a portable solution is required.

Hi,

One of the cheaper models is the peaktech P4145, with CAT III 1000V/CAT IV 600V.
Integrated Logger, but the recordlenght could be a little bit too short ( up to 1week)

But this is the direction where you could look at.
Of course Fluke is "top of the pops" ( we got actually one on loan here...beast with integrated report function..), but also top of price.
Although....not really - Gossen is more expensive.
