Title: Looking for small travel-friendly o-scope probes
Post by: Harrkev on September 27, 2021, 03:42:31 pm
I would like a pair of SMALL oscilloscope probes.  100 MHz and under $30 USD.  I have tried searching for this, but all probes seem to be roughly the same size.  What I would ideally like is the total probe length (including witch's hat and strain relief) to be 5 inches (13 cm) or less, and thinner cables would be nice too.  Does anybody even know if such a thing exists?

Thanks in advance.

Well, if it’s any help, on the Testec passive probes, the cable is actually removable — it connects via a push-fit BNC connector completely hidden within the strain relief. I have no idea how many insertion cycles they can handle. (Testec doesn’t advertise replacement cables as spare parts or even mention the removability anywhere, so it’s clearly not intended to be a user feature.)
