Question about the Keysight DSOX1000 series.
« on: April 10, 2019, 02:26:38 am »
I feel like this is a stupid question, But I'll ask it anyway. It will be a couple of months before I get my hands on one.

Looking at the back of the oscilloscopes, on the upper left side, there are a couple of deep indents molded in the case.  The manuals don't mention anything about them.

What are they there for?

If I understand you correctly, then it is a one through hole for the security cable. You need this kind of stuff you you are installing them in a shared lab or a university/school lab.

The hole starts on the back, then turns and exits on the side.
