Madell CA1640-20 question

Does anyone know the maximum input voltage for the "input" bnc on the front panel of the Madell CA1640-20 function generator?  I have a data sheet on it, but it fails to mention this specification.

I assume this input is for using the generator as a frequency counter from an external signal.
