Manual for a Soltec VP-6414S X-Y chart recorder

I know this is a longshot, but anybody here have a manual for a Soltec model VP-6414S X-Y chart recorder (or similar model)?

It's an analog XY recorder (basically a XY pen plotter) from the late 1980s. I picked it up at a ham flea market for $10; it's a neat piece of hardware and seems to be in working condition. but I've got no idea what some of the controls do. And of course schematics would be nice to have.

Their website is still up, but none of the phone numbers or email addresses work - seems they were acquired by NEC around 2002 and then...utterly forgotten.
