Marconi 2382/2383 without 2380 display

I recently managed to find the Marconi 2382 Rf module without 2380 display unit. I want to try use 2382 without display unit with software display retrofit on PC.
Data transfer link from 2382 to display by fast SPI-like interface is well described in service manual. But control interface is UART current loop with 9600 bod is described only like hardware realization. I cannot find any info about software protocol. From firmware reverse I see many two character command like GPIB command of 2380 unit. But any description of this command like embedded help or any other info.
Сan anyone with working set of 2380-2382 try to obtain log of interlink unit communication with some description like init, span, zero span etc?
