Does anyone have the matrix MPS 3005 power supply. I recently bought one from Amazon and it makes a weird series of clicks when I turn the output on or off. Not sure if this is normal or if I should return it.

That's normal. There are several relays in that power supply, so there will be clicks when adjusting voltage etc.

Yes I have the 3605 and it does click when changing the voltage. It's a linear power supply and needs to switch transformer tap for the voltage ranges to prevent too much heat dissipation.
