MT48T02 as replacement for DS1742W

The best that I can tell, this should be a drop in replacement for the obsolete DS1742W and was wondering if anyone has had success.  The original 1742 was a 150nS part and the MT48T02 is a 70nS part.  If anyone has any experience with this substitution I would appreciate your input.

Well - I researched my parts and the answer is NO, the 1742W is not compatible with the MT48T02. 
The 1742W is a 3.3V part and the MT48 part is a 5V part.  The 1742(no 'W') is a 5V part.  Oh well...
