insertion units for urv5

Hi all!

Anyone ever tried to use one of these without the urv5 or diy own ones?

Seems there's a cal eeprom in the connector which holds 4096 bytes (the unit has an 12 bit adc... what a coincitance ...

so reverse engineering might be feasible, but if someone has already looked into this before...
