Meter formats
« on: March 26, 2023, 02:39:29 pm »
Aneng seems to be branching out into all sorts of things these days, not just multimeters. Here's a new insulation tester:

It seems to me that's a really cool format for a meter, I'd love to have a little desktop multimeter that shape instead of a tall+thin that barely stays up on its stand.

I'd want the probe connectors down one side and push buttons to select ranges down the other with the screen in the middle. It's way better than the current obsession with "make it look like a phone", it needs to be made.

Just throwing ideas out there in case somebody is reading...

For some reason that kind of reminds me of the Snap On meter from a few years ago. No longer in their catalog, so must not have caught on. :-//

I remember seeing those ... they were huge and sold at "snap on" prices.  :--
