The large J clamp on the scope probe takes up to much space, so I avoid using that. 2. I would like to use that small plastic cap to cover up the ground ring to avoid accidental shorting/contact. But if I insert the plastic cap, the lengths of the pin is barely long enough for the small cable to grip on. It constantly comes off ... 3. The most important item, I would like the ground wire exit the probe at the same spot the signal wore dose, and allow me to attach a similar micro clip. I think this part would be ideal: PK1-5MM-112 (https://www.tme.eu/ae/en/details/lc-pk1-5mm-112/accessories-for-oscilloscopes-others/teledyne-lecroy/pk1-5mm-112/) Need to find a more reasonably priced distributor ... luudee |

For the typical 10X probe, I loop wire around the ground to get a smaller loop. No reason you couldn't attach your two cables this way. |

As mentioned, rounded pin's are usual used on digital connections.... Hantec / Siglent are rounded too! My single old Tek click and now found here a colored bunch on Ali Clequee brand: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000985317660.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.0.0.18a4f19cvhYvQe |

Hi Guys, just a quick update: I was able to find the required connectors to make an adopter as I wanted. These are the connectors I used. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002358582022.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003208141862.html Overall, I spent less than $10 USD for each adopter, and they appear to work just fine. Pictures are better than words ... enjoy ! rudi |
