Micronta 22-210 meter manual (scanned pdf file)
« on: September 11, 2019, 02:47:44 pm »
I was looking at my nice meters and remembered that years ago, I did something silly and blew the 30 mA range of my old Micronta 22-210 meter. "It would be a good idea to fix that. It's probably just a resistor." So I went looking for a schematic. I found two usable schematics.

Then, by coincidence, I found my original manual for it. So I scanned it and made it into a pdf file. Maybe someone will want it some day...

I also saved it here:

Anyone happen to know what "Z" is in the schematic ? I have 2 of these meters and one is missing the "Z" device. I'm assuming it's a Zener but it looks like a black disc capacitor. It has a triangle and some numbers on one side. I dont think it will work without "Z" installed.

It looks like a varistor to protect the resistance mode. It will work without it but the meter will give nice fireworks if you ever tried to measure the line voltage while still in resistence mode. Now how do I know this? Hmm.

Do you know what a suitable replacement might be? No value given on the schematic.
Thanks .....

look in the meter that has the component and search for the numbers on that part in combination with varistor

Mine looks like a MOV. It is black. It reads "7K560" and "64" under that.

Mine is black also. A triangle on top. Under that reads 7k560 and under that is the number 65. I do not know how to read those numbers sadly.

I collect Micronta multimeters. I have about a dozen of them. I have boxes and (I think) the schematics for the ones I have. If anyone is looking for a manual or schematic I can see if I have what you're looking for.

22-167?

That one is a maybe. I'm about 50% sure I had that meter and lost it, but still have the box and manual in my storage unit. My storage unit is cold because it's snowing here, but I need to go there next week to grab a table to put my 3D printer on. I will see if I can find it while I'm there!

I did find the Spanish version online. It doesn't have the schematic. I can upload that or run it through English translate then upload if you want that in the meantime.
