| Most economic USB-C PD test equipment? |

I'm looking at a project that involved USB-C PD at both host & device side. It looks like it is a good idea to get some test equipment that can mimic various chargers and devices. So far I have found these two units: Acroname 'USB-C Hub with Power Delivery Analyzer': https://acroname.com/store/programmable-industrial-power-delivery-hub-s99-usbhub-3c-pro?sku=S99-USBHUB-3C-PRO It looks like it can do the business but it has many more features than I need. With the options I would need, it ends up costing ballpark $2k Passmark 'USB Power Delivery Tester' This is a device (load) only and priced somewhat nicer at $750 but only does half of what I need. However, both products don't really fit the bill and look fiddly to setup. Are there any other options out there? Maybe some USB-PD demo board I have overlooked? Ultimately my goal is to be have some confidence that the product I might design 1) works well and 2) has a good chance of passing USB-C PD qualitication testing. |

Google for FNIRSI-C1, preferably on aliexpress. It may provide more functions for MUCH lower price. |
