Changing 'scope probe readout pin resistor?
« on: April 16, 2019, 01:25:41 pm »
I have an old Coline M20 'scope probe (IIRC 350MHz).  It's fitted with a multiplier readout pin and resistor.   The problem it would seem that the resistor is the correct value for 100x (6.75k) not for 10x even though the probe is a 10x probe.

Here's a piccie of the 'scope end of the probe after I disconnected it from the cable:

How the heck do I get in there to replace the resistor without destroying it?  I'm sure it is possible, but I can't work it out!

Thanks
David
