I am considering buying a logic analyzer TLA715A. This unit supports TLA7AXX, TLA7Lx/Mx/Nx/Px/Qx LA modules. I was not able to understand the different between these types of modules from the internet. Any pointers is highly appreciated.

Also, what would be the preferred option between TLA715 and Agilent 16902/16900?

Tektronix Logic Analyzer Series
Product Specifications
071-1344-02

TLA7Lx/Mx/Nx/Px/Qx LA modules:
Higher model letters (L, M, N, P, Q) have deeper memory depths
Higher model numbers (1, 2, 3, 4) have higher channel widths

TLA7Lx/Mx/Nx/Px/Qx LA modules all use the same probe cables. Break outs into flying leads for these are easily found at reasonable cost.

TLA7AXX modules use different probe cables. Break outs into flying leads for these are not easily found at reasonable cost. For example, P6810 probe cable set might cost more than a TLA7AXX module.
