Usually I'd trust the specifications in the manual over what the text in the item description on Banggood says but surely it can't be a single range can it !?

Clearly the manual lists a single range per function only but the item description says "fully autoranging" and lists the specs:

Display: 6000 counts
DC Voltage: 60mV/600mV/6V/60V/600V ±(0.8%+3)
AC Voltage: 60mV/600mV/6V/60V/600V ±(1.2%+5)
Resistance: 0.006Ω/0.06Ω/0.6Ω/6Ω/60Ω/600Ω/6kΩ ±(1.2%+3)
Frequency: 10Hz/100Hz/1KHz ±(1.0%+5)

6kΩ on the highest range, impressive :-)

I'm impressed by the 0.006Ω range. That gives micro Ohm resolution in a 6000 count meter.

It only has one range for Volts (up to 600V in 0.1V steps), another one for Ohms (up to 6000 Ohms in 1-Ohm steps) and frequency up to 1kHz in AC Volts mode.

Three minute auto-power off. How annoying will that be?

On the bright side: It has a bar graph and it looks like a smartphone when it sticks out of your pocket. Members of the opposite sex will think you have a new iPhone!
