This PSU is not popular on eevblog. No need to crack it, You have the PSU, you can rewrite the software yourself.

Who says that MCP is the OEM manufacturer of these power supplies?

Many of these Chinese power supplies with triple voltage outputs start with HY in their model number.
This might suggest that Hyelec is the original manufacturer.
