REED Instruments R5010 Digital Multimeter
« on: February 09, 2020, 10:47:00 pm »
I was looking for a lower cost DMM and came across the Reed Instruments R5010 which is a 40,000 count unit for a little over $100 USD.

Brief specs are:

• True RMS AC/DC voltage and current, also measures frequency, resistance, capacitance and temperature
• 4-20 mA process loop measurements with % readout
• Backlit LCD readout with analog bar graph
• Cat. IV 600V, Cat. III 1000V safety rating, IP67 dust and waterproof
• Includes test leads, temperature input adapter, thermocouple wire, weatherpoof plugs, battery and carrying case

Detailed specs are at this URL..

If you think it is a rebadged version of another product that would be interesting to know.

Anyone have any experience with this product or comments on the specs?  Good deal or not?
