Sometimes immediately, sometimes it can work for 5-10 minutes. It does not depend on whether there is a signal at the input or not. Firmware 2.0.3-III
Now I turned on the generator, while it is working, I hope the glitch is in the new firmware, maybe it will be possible to achieve more or less stable operation in this mode. Of course, it may not be in the firmware, I opened it and looked under a microscope, everything is well soldered.
It is strange that there are no updates on the manufacturer's page.

I advise you to contact the seller immediately and return the device or require a new one. if not possible contact Zeweeii directly maybe they can send you a new firmware. Don't expect firmware updates on manufacturer website because they don't do it. their products are buy and forget improvements type. That's why I quit on them.

Thanks for the reply ptluis. The return shipping will be expensive for me, I contacted the seller, he compensated me part of the funds. In the end it cost me $30, I can't be without the device now, it works somehow and well, it will suit my purposes. I wrote to Zeeweii, let's see what they answer.
At first glance, the quality is good, although one probe turned out to be non-working, somewhere the central core was broken. Of course, I had no doubts, in any such Chinese there is always something glitchy)
I need to look for something compact with the same parameters, what do you recommend?

@Panchez:
You were really unlucky.
I've never heard of a DSO2512G not working at all or being delivered with defective probes.
Did something break during transportation?
If you want a “better” one, I'd say you'll have to pay more.
That depends on your needs.
The cheap scopemeters, which are discussed everywhere, are not really better scopes.
Panchez:
Package was good. The probe is broken on the side of the clamp, I couldn't figure it out, it's pressed there, in the BNC side everything is fine.
I also looked at the reviews in the store, not a single bad one, either some component is faulty or there is a bug in the new firmware, I calibrated and reset to factory settings, I have not tried it with the second channel turned on yet, maybe it is the firmware, let's wait, maybe the manufacturer will write something, very interesting

I've never seen that before.
Btw: Why do you (not just you) always take videos in vertical (portrait) mode?
It looks like this on a monitor:
A smartphone can be rotated without any problems, a monitor or notebook less so.
Why do you do that?
