Yes, unless it has to do with the firmware, but Zeeweii says that's not the case.

Definitely. It is only slightly less annoying with a cheap device.  ;)

That's what they say  :) if I were the customer I request support and instructions on what test points should I measure. If they really want to help they do it.

Sorry we couldn't find the cause of the failure. It's really weird, we've never had anything like this, it's not a software issue, maybe it's the voltage instability causing the MCU pointer error, but I'm not sure. You can try to factory reset the parameters, and if it doesn't work, you should get a refund.
Factory reset method: menu->set, and then long press the "Auto" button.

Are you able to always reproduce the problem with the same key sequence or it is random?

Panchez:
Problem is a random.
It doesn't matter if there is a signal or not, if I press the buttons or not. It's just turned on without a signal and it froze and rebooted. From 1 to 5 minutes, it didn't work longer.
Now it's turned on for hours, I watch the signals, it doesn't froze.

Atlan:
If 1000 pcs work and one does not, it is cheaper to throw it away than to repair it. Especially at the price of the device.
