Stanley Labs SL114 counter - anyone know anything about it?
« on: February 28, 2019, 06:33:43 pm »
Hi all,

I am hoping to pick up a Stanley Labs SL114 counter (made in the old dart). The seller does not know any thing about it and even after my best google searches - I cant find much either. I think from an unanswered question on a UK forum it is a 50Mhz counter but other than that, seems it was built, used and put out to pasture b4 the internet had time to catch any info on it.

So if anyone out there has used one in years gone by or has a manual, service manual etc.. - would be great to know something more about it.

The only hit I found online: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/showthread.php?t=73152

That doesn't tell you much.

From the looks of it, it's contemporary with the HP 5316A, which is a 100 MHz counter. But the front panel has "GHz" and "ps" markings, so maybe it's faster than that. Faster than 50 MHz, anyway, I'll guess.
