Side note, and this is more for posterity: If your 4000 X-Series oscilloscope’s software version is prior to 4.00, you will need to change the suffix of the upgrade file from .ksx to .agx.

I just updated -- fantastic update.  The grid scale legend is really great.  I don't find it too dim; I think it's just right.

I find the grid legend just right as well. Any brighter and it would distract from the trace.
