Measure the resistance of the SMD, if it's very low then likely fuses.

The case looks like the same case that the NanoVNA SAA-2N comes with, handy nice little hard shell case.

Could be spare fuses.

In tiny SMD?

Yes, check inside the power supply if there are similar parts on the PCB at input or output.

I dunno. That doesn't seem very user friendly.  :o

Quick first inspection: I manages to get 19.95V out of my Xiaomi phone's charger. It seems to work. The user interface is bad, the beep on every button press or knob click will have to go.

There's a CH340 (USB-to-serial) chip right where the USB connector is on the PCB. That must be the communication interface. There's a four pin header right next to it but it isn't labelled like a serial port. Looks more like I2C.

Most likely replacement fuses.  I don't recall seeing these in my package, probably missed them being so small.  I probably don't have similar rated ones in stock.
See the green output fuse F1 hiding under the sense resistor in attached photo inside my unit.

I put my little tape package next to that and it looks like you're right!

Yep, the case is nice. You can remove just the top set of screws and the top half lifts off for easy access.
