uCurrent gold 0-100 uA
« on: September 02, 2020, 09:49:59 pm »
Hi,

Would it be possible to change the uCurrent gold so it measures from 0 to 100 uA or even 0-50 uA instead of the 0-1000 uA?

As it is, it's hard to get a precise reading because of the noise,

The image shows the best I was able to do to measure the current in deep sleep of a esp32 board. Hard to tell precisely what the reading is.

Actually I got my things together and I think I got it. The schematic was messing with my head :)

I think for a 0-50 uA I need to change the 10R resistor to a 204R072 or whatever close to that.

Does it look about right?

Let's say you wanted a 5mV drop maximum:
5mV / 100uA = 50ohms
That will give you 500mV output for 100uA input, or a scale factor of 5mV/uA.
