Rigol DP832A .ROF file conversion

I would like to import the .ROF file into an excel sheet for analysis but the issue is that Rigol wrote an article in 2015 using an older version of the current excel so the instructions aren't clear after step #16 on page 11 since I get a different menu after I try importing the data from the file.

Can anyone assist me with the conversion?

That conversion manual is unbelievable!! It would never cross my mind that they publish a conversion method like that one!!!

They should just save us the time and have the tool save as a CSV file instead in their next firmware update. What a joke this method is

If you look at the manual it's very simple to make a prog that does the conversion.

Starting at offset 0x1C, there are a number of little-endian 32bit words, in groups of 6 words (CH1 VOL+CH1 CUR, CH2 VOL+CH2 CUR, CH3 VOL+CH3 CUR).

BTW, their instructions should work on newer Excel versions.

In the latest excel verison, I don't get the same screen so I cannot follow the same instructions. Need someone who can translate them to be applicable in the latest verison

On page 10 of the instructions it says:

15) Now, open the ReadDPROF.xlsx workbook and select the RawDataFile
Tab (at the bottom):

ReadDPROF.xlsx looks to be a supplied Excel template that has the calculations built into it.  Notice the tabs at the bottom labeled "Calculators" and "RawDataFile".  These calculations are described on page 14 of the instructions.  Apparently that Excel template was available for download when the instructions were written but I did not find it on the Rigol website or via a Google search.

Can't help with how to use Excel, but maybe a better documentation of the file-format might help?!
